Name your price on BMW

If you are considering a new (or nearly new) BMW, talk to us now. Most BMW dealers missed their sales targets for quarter one and got a rocket from BMW UK which included threats of franchise termination if performance didn’t improve. Well it appears they are doing something about the volume problem by throwing money at us. The new 3 series has just been launched and already we are being offered discounts, and as dealers look to put on their new demonstrators we have been sweeping up the last of the old models at knock down prices. Discount on new and nearly new 1, 5 and 7 series are even greater than 3’s. Call or email us now with the model you want and see how much you can save.

    Director Finance
For the more senior people who elect to buy their own car rather than persist with the high tax of a company car we have found a company who will extend company finance rates to Directors and key staff for their personal vehicles.

Whether on a car you have found yourself, or one we supply to you our rates are as low as 3.9%PAF. If your car is already on order or you are looking for a quote contact us now – you certainly won’t lose anything by asking the question.

  Used 206's
We have just taken back our first batch of Peugeot 206’s. These are just a year old and have completed under 12000 miles.

These cars have proved a winner with our contract customers, proving to be very comfortable and reliable cars. We have a good mix of models and colours all at very competitive prices.

The models are all listed on our used car page and our finance deals on these cars feature in special offers section..

  Private Car - Risky Business
“Cash for Car” schemes have become very popular in recent years, but the risk of such arrangements have begun to be highlighted by concerned parties within the motor industry. The schemes popularity is based on the avoidance of new company car tax changes introduced in 2002.

Research by Interleasing showed that around 60% of employees use their own cars for business. Nearly 90% of these employees say their vehicles have had no company checks to ensure they are safe, and more worryingly over eight out of ten had never been asked whether they had insurance which was valid for business purposes.

The drawback of such “Cash for Car” schemes, whilst attractive to employees in remuneration terms, is that the business loses control. The suitability of the vehicle for the business; its reliability, and safety are all much harder to enforce.
For employers who do allow their employees to use their own cars on company business, a check-list has been drawn up for fleet managers:

• Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and has a current MOT certificate (if over three years old).
• The vehicle is insured for business use.
• The driver is licensed to drive.
• The car is regularly serviced.
• The employee is carrying out the routine checks and maintenance procedures.
• The employee has membership to a roadside recovery organisation.
• The vehicle is suitable for its purpose and expected mileage.
Interleasing argue a complete ban should be made on all employees using their own cars for business travel,
including one off journeys for such purposes as off-site training, conferences and ad-hoc meetings. Such an
approach to the problem would eliminate the potential catastrophic damage to the business from any incidents
and subsequent proven negligence on behalf of the organisation.
